In an ever-changing legal environment, professionals are always aware of the emphasis on the exceptional communication skills. A thorough understanding of the English language is fundamental to success in this field. This course is designed for law graduates and qualified lawyers whose level of English is B2 (upper intermediate) or above. You will have the opportunity to practise speaking, listening, reading and writing in legal contexts. Students will learn legal vocabulary and there will be additional language input - for example, language for negotiating and for advising clients.

Who is this course for?

If you are a law graduate or a qualified lawyer you are welcome you to take this course. Professionals working within a legal field are also eligible.

What are the course requirements?

We ask that you complete a short Needs Analysis. We may also ask for an online video assessment (eg. Skype) to establish your motivations and goals and to ascertain your level of English (B2 Upper Intermediate or above is ideal).

How long can I take the course for?

The course is as flexible as you need it to be. You can take it for as little as 1 week or for several months. Classes begin on the first Monday of any month and you can choose a time that is convienient to you - a morning class (9.15-12.30) or an afternoon class (12.40-16.35), or a combination of both.
